Before you use DepoCallout
What does DepoCallout do?
DepoCallout turns lawyer-selected deposition or hearing testimony into reviewed, page-line-cited presentation slides. It can also place two verified passages side by side.
Does it decide what testimony matters?
No. The legal team selects, edits, verifies, and approves every passage and citation. DepoCallout handles transcript structure, formatting, and export; it does not make legal or evidentiary judgments.
Where is the transcript processed?
Transcript PDFs, indexed testimony, selected passages, projects, and exports are processed in the browser. The application has no transcript-upload route, transcript database, or document storage bucket.
Which PDFs are supported?
The first release supports standard, unencrypted PDFs with selectable transcript text in a current Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browser. Image-only scans need OCR before import.
Are citations guaranteed?
No. DepoCallout fails closed when printed page or line numbers are not reliable and marks the citation for human review. The original transcript remains authoritative.
Are the final slides branded?
No Dancel branding is placed in customer exports. PowerPoint headings, testimony, speaker labels, and citations remain editable.
